About me
Hi! My name is Sarah.
I bring attention to detail, systems thinking, and enthusiasm to organizations. My professional experience as a former naval officer and engineering consultant has influenced my passion for problem-solving, service, and integrity.
I started my career as a naval officer, focusing on engineering management of valves and auxiliary equipment installed in submarine and aircraft carrier nuclear power plants. My consulting experience has provided practical experience managing root cause analysis, nonconformance, and CAPA programs with diverse teams from small businesses to Fortune 500 companies across manufacturing, healthcare, transportation, and energy industries.
I am a graduate of the Bettis Reactor Engineering School; I hold a Masters of Engineering Management from Old Dominion University and Bachelors in Manufacturing Engineering from Boston University. I have certifications in Lean/Six Sigma, Root Cause Analysis, Cause Mapping®, and Causelink®.
In my free time, I love traveling (I’ve been to every state and 6 of the continents, but Hawaii is my happy place), going to baseball games (I have attended games at 25 of 30 MLB ballparks), and taking walks with my family and our husky.
My professional experience as a former naval officer and engineering consultant has influenced my passion for problem solving, service and integrity.
